Canadian Tire meets my stomach flu and Merry Christmas

Lucky for me I just got over a terrible stomach flu that left me bed ridden all day yesterday. I got up this morning and was able to keep fluids down but I still haven't eaten anything. I'm happy that this came on yesterday and not today or tomorrow seeing as its CHRISTMAS!

I'm so stoked. It feels like it came out of no where and for me this year is a completely different experience. I have the joy of seeing it through the eyes of a little girl. I got a preview of that last weekend when we went up to St. Mary's (small town outside London) and got to open all our presents from Dad, Brother, Step mom and Grandparents. It was a great visit. My grandparents got to meet Abbie for the first time and everything went really smoothly, other then getting a flat tire a couple of hours before we even start to head for St. Mary's. It took so long for Canadian Tire to fix the tire that we ended up not leaving till 4am the next morning. We drove from Picton to Wooler Rd on the 401 before realizing that my tire is slowly leaking air. We decided to proceed and keep putting air in the tire whenever we could. We had to stop 10 times to put air in the tire but luckily we made it there safely.

Once we arrived I immediately took it to the St. Mary's Canadian Tire so they could replace it. I dropped it off and told them that there is no rush and ill pick it up the next day. Well at the end of the evening we stopped by to check if it was done and of course it wasn't. It turned out they forget that it was still there and no one was scheduled to be in on the Sunday (the day I told them i'd pick the car up). They had to of called someone in to do because sure enough with enough "words" it got done and I was happy. I was not happy with the fact that I paid to have it "fixed" and it didn't last even 12 hours and then I had to pay almost 150 bucks for a new tire all together. Let's just say I will never go back to Canadian Tire unless it's an emergency. I hate them.

But other then that I loved seeing my family and now we are spending it with Adam's family tonight and tomorrow morning and then heading to visit me mom and her boyfriend for dinner. Let's hope my stomach feels like eating a turkey dinner (I sure hope so).

:) Merry Christmas!!
